Yasmeen Z. Ojwang is a woman of faith, a mentor, speaker, missionary, healing agent, and Masters level Clinical Social worker. She is passionate about helping people through counseling, coaching, and mentorship. Yasmeen believes that being transparent and sharing her story will inspire others to discover who God is in their lives and to discover who they are through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Yasmeen is confident that her story will compel others to learn to love themselves and embark upon a journey of self-discovery through healing and wholeness. Yasmeen firmly believes that we should all live a purpose-driven life, which is full of dreams and aspirations. She enjoys sparking that fire in others to chase after their dreams until they become a reality.
The Pursuit of Healing started off as a personal journal that Yasmeen used to document her healing journey. While serving on a mission’s assignment in Nairobi Kenya in 2016, the Lord spoke to her, and whispered, “THE PURSUIT OF HEALING.” The Lord began to give her a blueprint of what the Pursuit of Healing and how it would assist many women, including her. Yasmeen started the Pursuit of Healing to serve as a healing tool and safe space for women from all walks of life. This is the place where you will not have to walk this journey alone. You’ll be encouraged to get ALL of JESUS and some THERAPY. Yasmeen is a firm believer in community and accountability, she believes that we all need a community that keeps us accountable and pushes us to be our best selves. She is the woman she is today, because she had a community of powerful, praying women who held her accountable to her healing journey, and pushed her in the direction o destiny. It is her life’s purpose to help women and girls heal and become the best versions of themselves, by being LIMITLESS, POWERFUL, and CONFIDENT.
